VANSIL^® W-30

VANSIL^® W-30 Wollastonite is a medium fineness (4 Hegman fineness) low aspect ratio grade of wollastonite that can be used as a general-purpose mineral filler in a wide range of liquid coatings and powder coatings. It is used as a TiO₂ spacer and extender. The naturally high pH of wollastonite helps to buffer latex paints and coatings, which contributes to improved corrosion resistance and weathering. This also extends in-can stability and prolongs the lifetime of the coating.
