VAN GEL^® SX

VAN GEL^® SX Magnesium Aluminum Silicate is a blend of naturally occurring colloidal smectite clay and xanthan gum that produces uniform thixotropic aqueous dispersions at low concentrations. VAN GEL SX is used in latex paints for the development of smooth thixotropic consistency. VAN GEL SX prevents syneresis and settling, provides dripless application, controls leveling and sag resistance, and eliminates or minimizes the need to stir the paint prior to use. Unlike many other anti-settle additives, VAN GEL SX imparts good in-can stability without excessive viscosity.

Industrial grades of VAN GEL^® Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, including VAN GEL SX, are intended for industrial use only. These products are not intended for other uses, such as for pharmaceutical or cosmetic use.
