VAN GEL^® R

VAN GEL^® R Magnesium Aluminum Silicate is suitable for most industrial applications. VAN GEL R is a highly purified smectite clay suspension stabilizer, emulsion optimizer and rheology modifier that allows suspension concentrates to be formulated for high stability, low viscosity, and good fluidity.

This smectite clay is synergistic with common thickeners such as VANZAN^® Xanthan Gum and CMC. These combinations will provide greater thickening, stabilizing and suspending properties than those developed by the individual components of the mixture. When formulating with both VAN GEL and VANZAN, care should be taken to limit the exposure of VANZAN to high shear. VAN GEL R is the industrial version of VEEGUM R.

Industrial grades of VAN GEL, including VAN GEL R, are intended for industrial and agricultural use only. These products are not intended for other uses, such as for pharmaceutical or cosmetic use.
